Yuen’s Fruit & Vegetable Specialists were looking for a new warehouse and distribution facility to house the wholesale side of their fruit and vegetable business.
As a wholesale supplier of fruit and vegetables to Gold Coast businesses, the location of the block was very important so we also helped Yuen’s select the right block with good access to accommodate their business needs. After looking at a couple of different options we selected a location in Burleigh which we believed would be the best-fit location in order to maximise the efficient running of their business.
The client settled on a block of land measuring 2,317m². Our brief was to design a warehouse with freezer and cold room facilities with a modern and functional administration and office area.
The warehouse needed to be designed and built with features specific to operating a wholesale fruit and vegetable business. This included a frozen and cold storage area, easy and convenient access for deliveries in and out as well as a purpose-built dispatch area. In addition to this, the architectural style had to have narrow frontage and maintain a visually appealing appearance.
In just 35 weeks we were able to design, complete and hand over the brand new custom-built warehouse and distribution facility to the iconic Gold Coast fruit and vegetable specialists, Yuen’s.
