Project Brief

We looked at several blocks of industrial land with our developer and they decided with the assistance of some preliminary plans and estimates that this site would best suit their needs.

Unfortunately, the block had a steep egress from the street, so it was decided to raise the site by 1m. Once the civil works were complete with a level building pad it was very easy to design the project to their requirements. The project offers four units ranging from 155m² to 600m² which allowed a variety of different businesses to either rent or buy.

Project Brief

The land was an ideal shape as it was wider than it was deep, so we could design a building with two units (like a duplex), both with equal exposure or frontage to the road. This gave the developer two units with equally high value.

The building offers great access into the warehouse, undercover parking and amenities for both the office and warehouse staff.

Project Brief - (Award Winning Building)

The block was just less than 2000m² and the brief was to design and build an ‘upmarket’ industrial building which will maximise the site and provide the developer with the highest possible return.

The result is a building with three units totalling over 1166m². With a mix of tilt panel, architectural glazing and alpolic sheeting, this building won the Master Builders award for the best ‘Industrial Building’ under $4m in 2009.

Project Brief

This building was designed and built as two units.

The first was for the owner Freedom Forklifts, who needed a purpose built mechanical workshop for their forklift business. This unit incorporates offices and amenities for the staff via a mezzanine level at the front. The workshop has one wall that opens right up with roller doors to give great access and ventilation to work area.

The rear unit was designed as a separate tenancy with its own mezzanine office and amenities.

Unfortunately, the soil test discovered very poor ground conditions so we had to adopt a screw pier system to support the building in addition to strengthening the ground slabs to accommodate the loads for industrial uses.

Project Brief

Harvey Prestige approached Clarke’s to construct their new facility at Coomera.

The business was expanding and our client required a more ‘efficient’ building to help service the needs of their existing clientele. By redesigning certain aspects of the building without changing the architectural ‘look’, we were able to save Harvey’s over $200k while still giving them exactly what they needed.

The total building is over 2300m², offering a huge workshop, approximately 500m² office space over two floors (both concrete), a wash bay, detailing bays, staff amenities and ample customer parking.

Project Brief

While this building was very efficient to construct due to its ‘square’ appearance, the use of minor articulations in the panels, the contrasting colours, commercial glazing and powder coated aluminium window shades gave the project an appealing appearance for an industrial building.
